CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Certificate in Catering

This course is designed for anyone working in a catering setting where food is prepared, cooked and handled. By gaining this food hygiene certificate it will show that you have adequately studied and understand principles of food hygiene and safety.

Duration of the course

The course is designed to give 6 hours of guided learning, but in practice it may be undertaken in less time. The average is about 4 hours.

Food Safety Course format

The course is written in 11 modules, each containing clear learning and innovative games and tests to re-inforce learners’ understanding. You also have the quality reasurance in the learning content of this course since it has been created by CIEH, the people that created the classroom food safety course.

Food Safety Assessment

The end test consists of 20 multi-choice questions of which 18 must be answered correctly. A printable certificate of completion is available from the learner’s pc.
