CIEH Food Safety Certification

All Food Safety/Hygiene and Health and Safety certificates issued by the CIEH are certificates of completion.
The CIEH recommends that to obtain a full award certificate, users will need to take a full CIEH assessment at a CIEH centre. However, the law requires you to have received adequate training to enable you to undertake your work role correctly and safely.

To obtain a CIEH and official accreditation, contact your nearest CIEH Centre. End tests for the CIEH courses consist of 15 questions for Level 1, of which 13 must be answered correctly, and 20 questions for Level 2 courses, of which 18 must be answered correctly. The questions are marked electronically, instantly and the CIEH certificate of completion for successful candidates can be printed directly from the learners PC.

The certificate of completion is sufficient to fulfill the inspection requirements for any Environmental Health and to prove, if required, that this training has been carried out correctly, and to the correct standards. The full CIEH Award Certificate, is an option, but not a legal requirement.
